No - same lump as a GSi.

The EVO 500 was a limited edition, kitted GSi in a nutshell.

Well it did have some lary cams and a couple of other bits to hike the power a touch, but nothing major.

They all used the 24v engine as well i believe. edit - apart from the 4.0 jobs
