There is a scam going on just now that involves a nigerian man claiming to buy modified cars for his sons birthday.

I have recently had this and the Fraud Squad and CID are looking into this.

This man is claiming he will buy your car, send you a fake cheque but try and get you to pay shipping costs for the car before the cheque clears. Its actually fake and will bounce and the victim will be £4000 out of pocket. This man will try and buy your car for more than the asking price.

He is calling himself Clement and will try and contact you through email on a yahoo account.

If anything like this has happened or is happening to you at this moment in time call your local Police ASAP.

Sorry for the essay.

Cheers Guys

It doesn't sound real at all.

You really have to be an idiot to fall for it.

Should contact dazbircher, he's an idiot.

Are people really that stupid or is it only because they think they are making loads of money?

I wasn't sure whether the police would be interested as no crime has to my knowledge taken place. If they're actually doing something then rock on, they're welcome to my records.
