Heavy Strain Products
B.U.T. Big 6

A heavy strain suitable for markets providing portioned, further processed and value-added products. The B.U.T. Big 6 is later maturing, offering secure skeletal growth that allows for greater production of breast meat from males grown above 20 weeks. The B.U.T. Big 6 has been developed over many generations to be one of the leading brands worldwide for efficient meat production. Breeder performance excels for a heavy strain, with a goal of 110 eggs in 24 weeks and yielding 89 commercial poults.*
T2

B.U.T. has developed a new strain to excel in the portioned, further processed and value-added product markets. The T2 has been selected for superior growth and meat yield, whilst full attention has been given to maintaining excellent skeletal strength and fitness. The result of this carefully balanced selection is a robust bird with efficient meat production, ideally suited to markets requiring portioned, further processed and value-added products. In addition, special attention has been paid to breeder performance, with a goal of 104 eggs in 24 weeks and yielding 85 commercial poults.*
