Was on here a while back, bu was it a vtr or vts? Im thinking of charging my saxo or just sticking some tb's on it?
Dont know if it would be worthwhile though?

I know it was aftermarket
Just want it a bit quicker, sleeper style and for the odd trip to the ring

if its a vts... full exhaust, 4-2-1, fast road cam, induction and remap - cant go wrong.

TB's would be the simple option in comparison to a 'charger. Both will cost you over £2k to do though.

Speak to a specialist like Cituning who know the engines well, they will point you in the right direction of what to do...

My mate has a turbocharged VTS, car cost him 5k and the conversion 6k, for essentially a bolt on turbo. No internals are uprated as the engine can apparantley cope with it. He keeps blowing his gear box up though! He had a dog box for a while but now has a VTR box which has longer gearing.

There's loads of S/C 106 / Saxo's on SSC, can be done on standard internals if you keep the boost fairly low.
However, there was one posted up done at GMC recently, 278 bhp @ the wheels... i.e. well over 300 bhp @ the fly.

Still havn't gone up against each other, the one time we were at Elvington together is when his gear box went! It doesn't run right often!
