At the moment i have a corsa 1.2 8v but am thinking of an engine conversion for maybe a 1.4 sport or a gsi, and was wondering whats best to do, also price and what to do insurance wise, many thanks

If the car is standard, you'd be better off buying a sport/gsi than swapping the engines.

cars not standerd, its got cav gsi wheels, lowerd 40mm gsi kit next week, exhaust, and i love it thats why i wanna drop something in it

but the thing is i dont want to buy another car, so thats why i wanna swap engines

it will cost you more in the long run to fit a 1.4 or 1.6 engine from a sport/gsi than it would to buy a sport/gsi, swap the wheels & such over, then sell the old car...
