You can buy a brand new Ute SS with the same V8 for the equivalent of £16k down under! Dunno what the VXR equivalent is though - HSV I guess?

you need at least 6k just for a decent engine, box, and running gear PLUS there like rocking horse shit to get hold of...

besides, take out the OE oil cooler on the V6 and change it for an air oil cooler, modify the flow of the coolant system in general to fill from the centre of the block and its good for bolting on stupid windy things like pc fans...
