Would these ever charge you more than a day travelcard??

ie. if you stayed within zone 1-2 and did a few changes and swiped it... it wouldn't cost you more than the £4.90 you pay as a travelcard?

indeed after a certain amount it stops charging... look on the TfL website for further details

i put a tenner on mine on last friday and banged round the tube all friday, saturday and sunday, day and night and used the card on a bus or 2 and still got £2.50 left on it

OK cheers, the tfl website made it sound OK but in some places they seemed to be contradicting themselves!

They always work out cheaper and never charge you more than a travel card.

Coolio... will probably sign up for one although the only time I would use it other than wkends away is when i go to arsenal matches and they conflict with the arsenal card
