Well after I managed to prang my 1.2 I decided I needed to get something with a little more poke. Insurance is still high but I bought a 1.4 8v Sri. It's a 93 L Reg with 100,000 miles on the clock, this is how it looked when I got it.

I've now had it a week and had it fully serviced, cambelt and fan belt changed and fully cleaned it yesterday and black all the bumpers and archers.

I know the engine bay needs a good clean and after looking at the pics I had taken I thought the water damaged rear plate spoils the rear. So this morning I got a new plate made and fitted it on.

All opinions and comments welcome!

Looks clean enough, inside looks pretty mint. Bodywork looks in good nick too, is that new numberplate a bit squint though?
