Yeah you could get one for about that 
Ones that need a bit of work will be around £700 - 1000, ones with nackard BE's will be around £300-600
ones that are looked after will be over £1300 id expect,
in all cases expect high mileage, welded sills, a rotten boot lid and alot of rust, or welds

Very tunable for not much money too. I remember reading a buyers guide in a Jap car mag a while ago.

Later ones even had the legendary SR20DET motor in them to oppose to the 1.8 CA18DET.
