Had someone call my mobile the other day...

Telesales person: "Hello sir, I'm calling to ask if you're interested in saving money on your mobile bill..."

Me: "No, I love spending as much on it as possible..."

Telesales person: "Oh, erm, well..."

Me: "Thanks, bye."

*hangs up*

i find the best way is to string them along for 10 mins or so, and if its the type of call asking you to buy something, when they ask for card details, tell them you're 15

they love it.

I had another one who refused to believe I could fix my own car if it broke down, and that my breakdown cover was sufficient to tow me home. How many nos before these people get the message.

i have a few i use.

answer the phone then when they ask for me i say "hang on ill get him"

then shout DAAAAAAAAAAD and put the handset down, leave it for ages.

another is to repeat everything they say, they dont like that.

say hello several times, till they hang up.

blow a whistle or air horn down the phone (burst eardrums ahoy) then your number should be deleted off the system as they dont want employees phoning you up if thats whats going to happen
