Yeah I believe that, just the way you phrased it with the angry faces, then 'true though'.

It's no different fom Goodsion round the stadium, but people live in those houses so it looks a little better. Its the boarded up windows and lack of cars that make it look eerie.

Saw a few of the players cars too.

AJ in his Bentley GT, stuck in traffic
Phil Neville with his Bentley Arnage, reg plate 2000 PN
Alesandro Pistone in his X5 with Italian number plate
Leon Osman in his RR Vogue.
Gary Naismith too but can't remeber what he drove, think it was a Mercedes ML, not sure.

Liverpool FC own all those boarded up house round the ground. They have been buying them for years now incase they decided to expand Anfield so they would have the land needed.

Agreed though, it isnt the nicest areas and those houses dont help!

Is extending Anfield not a viable option then?

not really no. Would have to move away from Anfield for a few years which would probably mean going to Goodison. The area around the ground isnt the best for transport links and the larger crowds due to all the houses. The cost would be more than just building a new one!

Plus by the time all the work was done it wouldnt be the old Anfield anyway so may aswell just move!

Fair enough.

Parking will be even more of a nightmare when that big car park gets built on, not unless they build another one on some of the fields.
