Ive just heard they tend to report misfires and stuff rather than det unless set up properly with a set up det cans to monitor and set the sensitivity.

my insurance on the 7 went down 650 for having a tracker fitted............some companys will insure without

Tracker is for if it gets pinched & roll cage will add to insurance because they view a car with one is going to be drove like it needs one...if you follow!

At some of these comments. You don't need to get it remapped nor use octane booster - it isn't a Subaru you know Super or Ultimate will be fine Nice car sure your enjoy it! Have you checked out http://www.lancerregister.com ? lots of info there (from people who know Evos)
