After seeing the exhaust on C4 I can safely say I will never ever go there, it was shocking.

the problem with powerflow is they supply the silencers to individual exhaust 'manufacturers' which then bodge the systems together in an expensive time consuming way, then charge around £200-£300 just for a cat back and 2 boxes!! ive been back with mine rattleing/leaking/banging 5 times, finally resulting in me aligning the exhaust myself and modifying the hangers and having to re-weld 2 joins! .. Rant over.

NOT HAPPY - Plus its ok saying there is a lifetime warranty, but when ive been back they keep me waiting about an hour before even starting the work, then when they do it they cant be arsed to do it properly! so ive wasted a day off work/morning and about 1/4 tank of fuel getting there! My local powerflow should be taken to the cleaners IMO

It had a Carisma rear can that was made from stainless. It looked as good as new. But the Powerflow stuff that came before it was rotton through, there were massive holes in it and the welding was shit.

You mean they actually do the repairs? Lucky you!

Mine was done at Top Gear in Burnley, and they threw the lifetime guarantee back in my face (when they didn't just forward any correspondence straight to Powerflow, despite me buying the exhaust from Top Gear, not Powerflow). I got Trading Standards involved, Top Gear sent very brief replies back to them telling they weren't going to repair/replace anything, and that the lifetime guarantee doesn't cover rust on their "stainless" steel exhaust unless it actually corrodes right through the metal.

After my dealings with both Top Gear and Powerflow, I'd advise people avoid both...

The link's already been provided, on the previous page, but just to clarify, this is the state my exhaust was in after just 8-9 months on the car (after Top Gear tried to blame it on salty sea-air, despite the fact I lived about 30 miles from the sea, at the time ):

I've had two Powerflow exhausts made by Redhill branch and never had any problems with either.

Would never entertain the idea of a powerflow, they use poor grade stainless (if you can call it that) and all their boxes are the same regardless of car, and you will find they share the same boxes at Longlife who are also monkeys.

Also all powerflows sound terrible cant beat a decent specific exhaust made by a reputable maufactuer like Magnex, Blueflame or Jetex. uild quality and welds will be far superior to that of a Powercrust

For the price of a powerfolw you could buy an off the shelf jobbie like magnex for the same price plus there much better quality/fit

Its not Wet

If you compared a full system made by the best powerflow dealer compared to a run of the mill Magnex exhaust made on a production line you will clearly see how crap ANY Powerflow is. The welds/boxes/baffles dont have to meet any strict quality control which says it all really

Plus the lifetime gurantee they give aint worth the toilet paper they claim it on

I pity anyone who was misfortunate enough to buy a powercrust system
