Hey guys,
I am looking to sell my 1996 Corsa Sport 1.4 16V and would like an approx value on it. Parkers says £1,290 for a standard car.
Mine is in top notch condition, just had the boot treated and resprayed for rust. Only one small patch of rust by the rear side window. Cambelt/water pump/tensioner AND clutch replaced within the last 18 months.
Spec:
K&N Air Filter
Custom made powerflow backbox
14" 5 spoke alloys
De-badged boot - custom CORSA badge under number plate
Custom fitted engine push-button start
JDM Black rear lights
LED:
Front Sidelights
Side Repeaters
Rear Tail lights
Rear Brake lights
Rear Indicators
Footwell neons
Polished Chrome bonnet lifters
Custom sprayed engine

All replies welcomed.

Lose the gay foglights and put the standard rear lights back on would make it more appealing, not to keen on the rear corsa badge either ? lol

Valuation sounds about right... It's an old Corsa, they aren't worth a lot.

oh, the foglights have gone!!
I've always had a thing for split letter badges, it's unique, I've never seen another Corsa with one.

Ignore Steve above, he's a gay...
If parkers says £1290 try maybe starting at £1400 ono and hope for £1300 or that...
Agree with rear lights change them to standard...Boot badge ppl will like it or hate it but It won't put somebody off buying the car as it's easily removed....
Car generally from pics looks in good nick.

It's a 10 year old Corsa, it's not worth much at all.

If he puts it up for 1k he would more than likely get about £850..Start that wee bit higher and let somebody knock you done a few pounds....

I know people that use that tactic, but it doesn't work for me.
If i'm buying a car i'm armed with what its worth and what i'm willing to pay.
I wouldn't be fooled into thinking I had got a bargain because I knocked them down to market value.

The market value is £1290 so he should hold out for something quite close to that in my book..Why let it go cheaper unless he is looking for a really quick sale...
Not everybody John thinks that way and there is people out there that will be drawn to getting a bargain by knocking something off...
Again if somebody likes what he has done to the car they may be willing to spend that little extra.
