I've never had the van on a dyno or any vehicle for that matter, apart from my race bike!
Don't really know what to expect or what the engine's gonna produce power and torque wise. Its going to The Racing Line over at Halifax. I've heard good things about these guys! Proper equipment and all that!
Anyway the spec of the engines is....
C20XE rebuilt around 35,000 miles ago so its fairly fresh
Bored out to 2050cc
Schrick competition cams (don't know what spec but tick over is lumpy!)
3bar fuel regulator
Superchip in the ecu (i know they're shite but who cares!)
K&N induction cone
2" side exit exhaust system with no cat and 3 silencers
white rocker cover
The engine was done when i bought it from a guy called Roy Ritchie who built Lucky B's mentalist 2 litre! so i know its a good one and its been reliable, but what am i looking at optomistically (sp) power wise?
cheers!

i used to race, but since the old man died, and a mortgage to pay etc i stopped racing. i started on 125gp's on a honda, then onto a cbr600 then a 748r then back to 125's then onto a vfr 400
i'll post up the results tomorrow as soon as i know

90% of RR are crap and my 1.6 will be faster
oh, and I guess 160-165 bhp the superchip will make it overfuel and the cams will mean fuelling and ignition timing will be miles out.

Well it was done by an ex batcars employee so wouldn't suprise me
its a good strong engine though and performs well on the road so thats all that matters I suppose

looks good, making peak power at around 6300 rpm. get some verniers on there and get it remapped and it should get a bit more revvy and the torque should smooth out when the cam timing is set and hopefully get peak torque a bit higher up the revs at around 6000 rpm.
oh, and Dyno Dynamics dyno. good choice
