Author help with a kenwood kvt m700

i have just bought a kvt m700 of a lad i know... now it worked fine in his corsa but i have installed it into my new mini and it opened up but i cannot get it to close...... the only thing i have done is attached a plug i bought from halfords from the connector in the back of the stereo to the mini block connector???

please help thanks

u gone on to the options on it cus i can leave my screen out it might have reset its self to stay out hope it helps
