i sold a phone on ebay other day, w800i, guy has now finally recieved it and filed a dispte saying that the memory stick is corrupt and wont read, i mentioned i tested it fully and even left songs on the phone before sending out, o well i cant win..offered him £15 in return of the memory stick and hope he closes the dispute, if he doesnt, then files a claim, surely paypal can close it instantly saying i offered what was asked...happened to any1 b4?

if you have offered a refund for the problem listed, as long as he returns the memory stick i cant see it being a problem
if he tries to claim the entire amount back without returning the phone, you can contest it and say you will only refund if the phone is returned in the condition he recieved it in

well i have offered him £15, sent it to his paypal account in return for old 1, but howcome my funds are still on hold?
i dnt wanna risk refunding it all, incase he returns it damaged, more hassle that way
he said the dispute has been cancelled but it doesnt show

he has to except it but i wouldnt of made the transaction so early! would of waited till you have the memory card back incase he is pulling a scam on you
if the dispute is cancelled, it will show straight away

well its all logged on the resolution centre on paypal, so paypal can review, he has accepted the £15 after i sent it and said "the dispute has been cancelled" but my funds are still on hold
