right, I've been painting my room, slowly, but one of the walls looks shit.
Its papered, and I painted on it, but the paper has sort of creased now, so it's not very good to look at.
The rest of the room is woodchipped, so, I'm thinking I might as well just do the last wall the same.
Trouble is, I've not painted it, and I dunno if it'll be ok?
Can I paper over painted wallpaper?

I wouldn't bother, incase it causes the woodchip to crease.... Strip the wall and do it properly !!!

your laying the paint on too thick
just do light coats to start, let it dry, and do another light coat

I put thin coats on Paul, Its because the wallpaper is thin and crap, the other 3 walls have been fine.
I cba to strip it, would mean buying scrapers and filling the holes where the plaster would come off with it.
the creases aren't that bad, just look crap because the wall should be flat, but it isnt.

Is it smooth wallpaper? Ie not woodchip or blown stuff..If it's smooth and you want to put woodchip over the top it will be ok IMHO...

fook off stripping woodchip off
I did that before in my brothers old house, was a nightmare job
the paper on there atm is about as thin as lining paper, so i reckon it'll be fine.
as for pics, I'll get some when its done, i took some before pics, but i dont know if i uploaded them from my cam :S
