I have been having problems with my car cutting out and running rough. The cutting out was solved by replacing the ignition module. However the car still runs horid. Sometimes when driving along it loses all power and just splutters. You have to then pull over and leave it to idle where it will then clear itself and you can carry on.
I have taken it into a garage because i was out of ideas and the whole time that they have had it it has only done it once and they they said they cant put their fingure on what exactly it was other then it been electrical 
The only way they said they would know for sure would be if it did this whilst it waas plugged into a diagonstics machine. However it does not usually do this unless it is out been driven 
What should i do as i could spend hundrads replacing sensors etc and still get no where
any advice will be much appriciated.

dunno i dont have one Found out after having the car for a year and a half that it was removed before i brought it. Never a good start 
However it has been plugged into a diagnostics machine and nothing showed up
although whilst on the subjuct of EM lights where could i get hole of a bulb and what spec is it?

is it just the bulb that has blown? just get another holder and bulb from vauxhalls wont cost much

when i had the dials out there was just a hole. not bulb or holder. I have been informed that all corsas have them though.
Although if there was something wrong with the car surely it should have show up last time it was tested bulb or no bulb

it should do but if u know the lite is coming on then it will be logging a fault

So as long as the light comes on it will log a fault and store it on the ecu? So the fault would not need to occur whilst it was pluged in?
Il nip into vaux on my way to collect the car to get a bulb and a holder. They the same for all the differnt types of dials?

il get a bulb and go for a drive and see if it comes on. Then i will go from there. Il will update then

I got a bulb and it still doesnt work (does not iluminate when the car is started) So this must mean that i dont have an EML as i tried a couple of bulbs I thought that all corsas had them ?
What would be the next recomended step as im presuming its pure guess work from here

went to the scrapys today and got a distributor. Fitted it and it seems to be running alot smoother. However the first time i started it, it was very reluctant to idle. Would not at all at first and then sat at 2000rpm for a bit. However after that it settle down and has been fine since.
Could this just be a first time starting thing or could it be an indicator that i have not fitted something correctly

i would think that ur managment light isnt wired in correctly

So it should definatly have one? And they come on when you start the car right?
How could it be wired incorrectly

lights up when everything is running off battery, IE before uve started the car, but once started shouldnt be on
