Just back, parked in the carpark opposite the field, and waited until it was clear and ran across the field, no barrel roll was required as there was a gate (damm it) we went through and walked into the middle of a pitch black field on soggy open ground.

We knew roughly where it was because of the photo reconnaisance we carried out (Google Earth) earlier in the week so we literally walked until the shape of the bunker appeared, and it did.....

We got right up to it, its about 20 metre squared fenced off with barb wire and its dead eerie, the fence and barb wire weren't a problem as there was a gate that had been left open but the trouble was the area had become totally overgrown with bramble bushes about 7ft high, lucky for us the entrance to the bunker is about 3 feet away from the fence, we could see it but couldn't get to it for toffee, so tonights mission was a success in the fact we found it and are certain we cannot be seen entering it.

Tomorrow we are going to go again this time with something to cut the brambles with, and its safe to take pics so will tomorrow.

To be continued....

Hmmm, comparing my pics to the ones on the Subbrit site, it would appear that the ground has sunk (as the 3 vent/door things are normall on a mound)

so, maybe the bunker has collapsed
