What would happen if you got caught for speeding / pulled over for speeding in a european country - for example France, at speeds of approx 140 mph ish at 4:30am on a empty motorway?
Just wondered like
Would you get points on your british licence / lose your licence?
or just get a massive fine?
Would you have to tell insurance or anything?

Would they not put you in jail for a bit for speeds that excessive? or would that only be if you can't pay the fine?

they'd threaten you with jail to scam more moneyout of you.
put you in acell for a while if you didn't cough up and maybe make you call someone to bail you, but i don't think improsonment is a serious threat to speeders.
watch the Gumball film for a bit of an insight.
you going to France soon?

yeh I've been watching a lot of gumball stuff lately, like the gumball 2006 coverage on Extreme Channel.
Crazy how many times they get pulled over, they'd of lost their license ages ago if it was in uk.
