I've just got a blueflame cat back exhaust, but i was originally going to get a garage to fit it, but all i've found so far are some slack arse mechanics, who breathe through their teeth and moan about bad fitments etc....

SO, I'm gonna give it a go myself and i want to know what the fitment is like on the blueflames (i can imagine its pretty good) and do you think a novice mechanic could easily fit one. Also, how does it fit onto the cat ?? I can see a kind of rusty bracket affair, but not had it in the air yet to have a look... Has anyone got a pic of the cat area at all ?? As the cat area is fairly rusty, do you reckon dousing it in wd40 would get it to shift ??

Cheers

Steve

i fitted my mganex cat back system on my drive in the snow,
its not that hard, put the car on axle stands, soak the joints in wd40, unto all the bolts, take back box off then take the middle box off, and then fit new ones, really is easy

i managed to fit my blueflame at work during my lunch hour, they let me use the ramps though

one thing is to get some decent springs and bolts to replace the inevitable rusty/broken ones
