Picked the car up from a member on here a while back, One of the oil cooler hoses split on the way back (great start!), so i had somenew hoses made up which meant i could route them properly and mount the cooler nicely.

Next i Sorted the suspension, the car was stupidly low when i picked the car up, the manifold would be scraping on the floor at the slightest bump, so i put some 40mm springs but these are cheap crap, so ive purchased some 2.0 conversion springs from adam b on here and have spax adjustable struts and 60mm spax rear springs to go on.

The car needs a bit of work, im going to paint the bonnet the original colour and one of the doors needs a respray to get it looking good.

Plans for it are:

- Tidy up the engine bay
- Fit Rev counter clocks
- Strip the car out
- slim fan
- more gauges

that picture was taken when the backbox hanger was broken, its now fixed and the exhausts sits higher up and further in

what are base model 1.0 12v's?

the base model was a 1.4 8v

Yeah the engine bay is a mess, since them ive tidyed up the wiring, resprayed the rocker cover and gave the bay a jetwash
