is this on the classic shape one? The 3.2 carrera?

Best option would be to buy a second hand engine cover (with same spoiler as current?!) and use that to work/test on.

Is that spoiler getting mounted to the bare lid, or onto another spoiler?

If its just onto the lid some sort of alloy block will prob do the job... but you'd need to get at machined to shape to fit in with the lines of the car/spoiler!

Ring a machine shop and see what they can do!?
