Hey,
Just thought i would post this request up.
I am after a job in the alps this ski season.
Wondering where to apply as a lot of places want 21 or over.
I am 18 with a bit of work experience and a-levels etc, doing gap year before Automotive Degree at Warwick.
Anyone done one iof these like last season or doing one this season? Applied to a few places and got a job offer but it is kitchen/night portering which io dont really wanna do as tyou get not time to ski / party!!!
Pref. looking at a chalet/hotel assitant. You clean rooms/other areas and serve meals or whatever is needed of you!!!
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
Gordon.

From what i got told last year by our chalet staff, you don't really get time to party/ski anyway. The staff in our chalet were in at 8 -12 tidying up, 4 hours out, then in a 4 to cook etc. Then home at 9-10 and the same the next day.

yeah that sounds about right for chalets
kitchen porter works all day and night porter patrols all night
which sounds pretty crap so somethin else prefferred.
in hotels it is like 8-11/10 then 5-8/9 which is about what i am after!!
