had a quick look and couldn't get my head round it! what do you actually do?
photocopy tax disc then send it off with the form? then put plates on when you get it back?
Do you update insurance once that has happened or before?

I sent the form off, they requested my tax disc and then wrote back to say I could put the plate on. The tax disc arrived after though. I informed the insurance company and I had a new cover note the next day.

they send you a new Tax disc with an envelope to return the old one iirc

i went to the nearest office which was Trafford Park for me and they did everything there and then.....i told my insurance which day i was going on

check the DVLA website and see if you have a local office. they will do it all for you.
