I was smacked when I was naughty as a child.
Never did me any harm. Will smack my kids too.
Most people that aren't smacked turn out to be little shits and always get their own way with their parents!
My girlfriend says she wont ever smack her kids as she was never smacked by her parents. She answers back to her parents so that to me shows what good it did her not having any discipline(sp)!. I would never dream of answering back to my parents as I've been taught to respect them.

i agree with smacking your kids, i had it and it's never done me any harm i just remember ma dad chasing me up the stairs and not getting up quick enough! lol

not read the thread but caught a wee bit of programme.
I was smacked when i was a kid and it never did me any harm, teaches discipline.
Pisses me off when i see parents on programmes like this smacking there kids because they misbehave and then you see the parents acting like complete pillocks shouting and swearing in front of them
