i decided against buying online now, because getting them fitted is too costly, was speaking to a guy at a dealer and he said to me, people are buying tyres online, thus damaging their business, so they are gonna charge at least £10 a corner to fit self supplied tyres
he also said that if he fitted my supplied tyres and damaged my alloys he would tell me to stick it, where as it would be different if i bought his tyres, which i felt was unprofessional

but most places i been charge that much, 2 yrs ago i had them fitted for £6 each, last yr it was £10, id hate to think what they are charging now

doesn't sound too confident in his tyre fitting skills if he thinks there is a chance he is gonna damage your wheels!

I find that local tyre dealers are cheaper than online. I had 2 avon zz3 tyres fitted for £140 locally. They are £74.80 on my tyres, plus you then have to get them fitted

my mate ordered form mytyres and canceled the order as they didnt turn up after 2 weeks, a week later they turned up he was never ever charged!!
