When getting a MOT done on a car thats had a Engine Conversion on it, Say the car was made in 1994 and the engine was made in 1990. Would you need a Catalyc Converter? In 1994 you would of done, but in 1990 you wouldn't of?? Any Ideas?

the emissions go on the age of the engine, not sure if you need proof of the enige age though
