You're not grasping this are you...

You don't like his music or think he's a great musician, that's fair enough. That's your opinion and you're entitled to it.

Your 'opinions' however are not fact and mean fcuk all when trying to construct an arguement. You have nothing to go on.

I'm not keen on his music either, doesn't mean I don't think he's a great entertainer because I do and millions of other people would agree also (my mum included ).

That is all I will say on the subject.

well i can see his point hes just not putting it along very well, robbie williams may well be good at writing lyrics (although i believe most his best songs were written by some one else, guy something?) and making catchy songs.

His songs aint exactly what i would call amazing and he will not be remebered as a great song writer/singer in years to come.

Bands like zeplin, metalica, beatles ect were timeless, robbie williams just fits in with whats popular at the moment and whats aceptable to a lot of ages, he is a good musician but not great lol.

But like what has been said, every one has there own taste, so its obvious people will turn out to his shows.

What makes Amnesiac a great album? Its full of whiny vocals and no rock guitars. Slow and boring from start to finish. Every song forgetable. I wouldn't say it was anything new either. Yet yourself and NME/Q loved it. Don't get me wrong, I love a morbid album but that was just drivel.

I went to RW on monday night and really enjoyed it, he's not the greatest singer in the world, he's arrogant and has a lot of freddie mercury in his act which is why he is so popular...

I thought it was really funny when Ant & Dec turned up and offered a slight rendition of Lets get ready to rumble...

simple entertainment

mind you, he cant be that daft as he's sold 3 million tickets for that tour..

I watched a TV programme about that, if it's the same guy and the story he told was true then he was well stitched up by Robbie

Yeah thats the same guy, iirc the guy's daughter had died, and he wrote it in memory of her while Robbie was there staying with them.
