yesh, just you.

i had a pre 97 8v, tappets werent loud unless i'd been ragging it and the oil was low

Ive got a pre 97 8v and i havent got loud tappets.....................just very loud injectors

Have you adjusted them recently.. My Rallye was a pain to get them spot on.. Too tight they were leaving valves open and causing it to run like shite... had mine quite slack on purpose, revved better and didnt cause any problems..
