I recentley put my car on ebay. Heres a link to the advert
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=190024710541&ssPageName=STRK:MESO:IT&ih=009
To cut a long story short he came to pick it up the following w/e. He claimed he didn't know how long the car had been stood for (i stated this in my ebay add) so decided he needed a recovery truck and said he would arrange one for midweek. He called me wednesday to say he didn't want it because of some feeble excuse so i said fair enough, if you don't want it you don't want it.
i went on ebay and used the dispute thing so i could get my listing money back thinking he would just say he didn't want it anymore but he has replied with this.
''The car was advertised as project and it should be put as spares or repairs, it was in much worse
condition than described, i went to see the car in person, which cost me to get there in money and
time and phone calls. Iam not paying him anything as it was wrongly described and was missing original
gsi parts which he is selling elsewhere''
As a result i am not getting my listing fee back.
My point is that i feel the car was fairly advertised, pictures were included, it stated it hadn't moved for two years and mentioned all modifications to bodywork.
I want the money i spent on listing it re-credited as i have had to pay again. ebay are not giving this back to me.
where do i go from here?
