Is that show still on TV? I haven't had sky for about 7 months. Just got it back and I'm trying to figure out where it's gone. It used to be on Discovery Real Time every night. Now it isn't I learned so much from that show...

Yea, been watching that. I like that, but it's too much like Pimp My Ride. I couldn't give a fuck about the cars owner. I just want to see how the cars are built! Thats what was so good about American Hotrod....

Boyd was a bit of a cunt. Sat in his office all day long. No wonder Charlie started to cry and left. Blue bear was a cunt too, he deserved to be chucked out. Though it was a bit too much like a soap rather than a documentry about cars

The first member to leave the team was Bluebear. Over his time there his carelessness and lack of work ehtic tested duane ans boyds patience. Boyd final put it to a end around December 2004 Boyd fired Bluebear. On January 21, 2005 (Episode 23), Charlie (who did body and paint) departed, going to work for Boyds rival Chip Foose after getting a better offer. Shortley after Thomas and and Mike lefet because of diffrence of oponion, both disagree with Boyd about how the cars should look an be put together, the team was short staffed. In 2006 the year 60 year old Metal Worker Roy, retired leaving the team to look towards Lee to get the Metal work done.

yeah but thats cos Boyd seems like a nobber.

I would prefer to work with Chip Foose too

Coddington is gonna have to close soon, maybe just stick to restore jobs, not building ones from scratch.. Plus he charges too much. £250,000 for a Coddington Classic is a bit much

Boyd Coddingtion has already sold off the alloy wheels part of the company so they are downsizing.
Roy (the retired metal worker) died earlier this year apparently

Yeah Roy died, had a show about it.

Charlie and Mike both work for Foose now, theyve both been on Overhaulin with him.

Its normally on Channel 250 (Discovery Realtime) at around 11pm on a Sunday.

I actually prefer American Chopper, but Hotrod is still good. Would prefer it if it was at Foose or somewhere as that guy is a genius.

its more like a soap then a car build program.

i find marks evan's shows alot more informative. a car is born, kit car is born, bike is born, chopper is born, etc etc.
