nah the way we do it at work.

use a split plug on the back of the PC so you can attach 2 monitors. Then in display settings there is a tick box to activate a 2nd monitor. Then just resize them and your done.

Easy stuff

Then just drag and drop application into different screens. So you can work and play at the same time

Same, when i worked in investment banks we had to setup the trader desks. Flatscreen 17" monitors 7 years ago, but they had between 6 and 9 of them, facing in front and over the top (imagine sitting on a tube looking at the opposite window/roof going over you).

Was like watching a movie in iteself with all the trading screens, graphs, news updates. Cabling was a f-ing nightmare

i remember working at the IBM Australia headquarters, they deal with stocks and shares networking, the sheer amount of flat panels in one room was unfathomable
