my brothers r5 gtt went in for a respray 2months back and this is how its come out.

it used to be titanium grey with silver wheels.
its now in a one-off orange/gold with a gold pearl, anthracite wheels with body colour detailing, anthracite bonnet with body colour chequers over the o/s of the bonnet. it has been sprayed inside and out inc engine bay and inside the wheel arches. the work carried out is second to none and the finish is immaculate!

all in it cost him £1500 i think to get all the work done inc 2x new sills, 2x new doors, new scuttle panel, new tailgate, brand new genuine arches, skirts and front bumper, custom side exit exhaust converted from a k-tec system.

the car has a big engine spec but i can never remember it but its been rr'd at 202bhp @ 6235rpm and 203lbft @4446rpm at jamsport (broster might of seen it down there?)

whats people thoughts?

all work was carried out by Jez and Buttons @ Carrera Bodyworks 01284 701 090

Looks pretty nifty there.
I hear that these cars are notorious for breaking down and fucking themselves though?

Some guy walked past my house and asked me why I was bothering to do up a corsa when his R5GTT would piss all over it, and I replied "well mate, we will have a race and see which engine dies first"

Loving that, very tastefully done. Prob wouldn't have the flag personally but everything else looks mint. Doesn't sound like he's running stupid boost compared to some ppl. Reliability would put me off somewhat but would love one all the same

My mate had a lovely red one, it went through 2 headgaskets in the space of two months, obviously had a warped head.
