Im after a 1.4 16v sport engine with everything. Needing one asap due to me blowing the head in mine and the block cracked. miles up to 70k. Cash waiting.

what is the XE like? reason for swap/px?
XE with everything needed loom, ecu etc?

The XE has everything apart from gearbox and alternator. I dont have a fitting kit or anythign like that because i ended up with a huge phone bill that needed paying so my project fund went down the drain. Thats the reason for p/x, i dont have the time or money for converting the corsa into a 2.0. It has ecu and loom.
230corsa - how well does your 1.4 16v run? head ok? when u say everything does that include, manifold, ecu, loom, hosing, gearbox etc etc?

yep but no shafts ,ran well with no probs,it came from a tigra which has now been caged and being built into a rally car that will have a 1.6 16v on tb's,

i've got a 1.4 16v 1996 sport engine with 65k, think the head might have a few bent valves tho (not 100%) but the bottom end is spot on. you can have it all for £40 if you collect. i'm in the NE near middlesbrough. u2u me if interested

i have a 54reg 1.4sri twinport on 15000 miles for sale. with everything apart from box and shafts but its the same box as eny of the xe engines. looking for 320

I have X14XE with a few coolant pipes etc missing but you can use stuff from your own motor.
It has 90K on it but the head was rebuilt a few thousand miles ago due to cambelt going. Ran sweet as a nut when removed. Only removed due to 2.0 upgrade.
