Maybe Parkers/Book Prices is a way for dealers to keep the market cheap for trade-ins so they can then sell the cars for bigger profit themselves on their own forecourt?

TBH i find parkers overpriced if anything, they priced my megane coupe at 4100 private good, no interest there, and 3k tade in (max theyd offer me is 2k, even the guy said it was mint)
i could only sell it for 3800

parkers is pretty far off the mark sometimes... and they are always overpriced compared to glasses

price for a 1999 T then, and a 2000 W, then work out the difference, then subtract it from the 1999 one and you'll get a rough 1998 S price
sort of

As with quite a few cars though, an Impreza can fetch more than its value. Especially if the mileage is low.
