if you do go to court tell them you need car etc work commitments... if you live in the sticks tell them public transport where you live is unreliable... i did this and got 5 points and a £300 fine

btw i had only been driving 14months at the time

i went through one of these double camera things out the back of a cop van on the M11,was doing about 90mph,that was last xmas,never heard nothing,you might be lucky m8

My mate got 15 points for driving without due care, no MOT, no insurance, leaving th scene of an accident.

He explained he drives a work van, 15 points and no ban.

Apparently it's at the judges discretion.
