Anyway the last thread got trashed as it descended into chaos.
I have been looking through my recorded slips today to see whats been delivered and what hasn't...
After looking through them i have 11 slips that either say the item is waiting to be picked up or there is yet no information with royal mail to say what is happening with the package.
these date right back from the 6th of June right through until the 23rd of August... and 1 isn't even stamped from the post office... so i don't have a clue when i sent that one!
Just wondering what i am expected to do with these, because i don't know if these people have yet received their goods or not.
Now i could go trauling through ebay messaging these people like i used to, which took ages! but some of these date back to well over 2 months ago and it's going to be an absolute bastard to find the details of the people.
I pay an extra 70p or so for this service... any ideas? Welsh Dan?

Mark, if the item is still saying that it needs to be collected from the office, its best to get in contact with the recipient to check or tell them. If they've received it, all well and good, but its probably worth putting a claim in for a refund of the postage. TBH, you'd have probably heard off the recipient if they hadn't received it. Either way, RM should return a Recorded Delivery item after a week of not being delivered, so if you've not received it, did you put your address on the item somewhere as it would have gone to the lost property office else.
If theres no information for the item whatsoever, as long as its been more than 15 working days since posting, its 'technically' a loss, unless our investigations say otherwise. Put a claim in for them and as long as you attach the eBay paperwork, there won't be any problems in refunding you the money and postage. With the one that hasn't been stamped, it won't be accepted as a valid proof of posting so you can't do much with that one

all are specials are now taken by the van drivers so they can put them straight on the system as deliverd or card left for them to collect
