I was just wondering if an amp can be hooked up to any car stereo? I have a Blaupunkt Calgary Head Unit, And i have been looking at other head units on the internet and have noticed on specifications that most of them have 'Pre amp outputs'.
I looked at the specifications for my bluapunkt head unit and it doesnt mentions anything about pre amp outputs.
So does anyone know if an amp would be able to hook up to my head unit?
Here is a link to it

you can, but the quality wont be as good
that cagary unit is how can i say it. shit,.
pay a little extra and get a alpine or pioneer unit
halfords have a good few old stock ones. they wont be on display in the audio board
there is a pioneer 7700 mp3 unit for about £140 its a very very good unit for the money.
or there is still other slightly lesser units cheap, you will have to ask about them thou as most of the time they wont be on show
