 | on ya radiator ya have a little plug going on pull it off and join the 2 pins and if it works its your fan switch sensor

 | well if ya bridge it ya fan will come on all the time so that means it aint your fan its your fan switch but you can leave it bridged if ya want just means ya fan will be on all the time when ya ignitions on

 | Mine does same, garage said it was my 2prong  thermo switch... replaced it... still fucking same, doesnt kick in.... fans now on constant and its still a higher than normal temperature but doesnt hit over 100 now....

 will it be easier to fix the problem or put the fan on a manual switch?

 I do.... so my mechanic is 99% sure its the thermostat....
 
 in your case it may be the thermoswitch... got a new one, if you want it ill sell you it?

 | all ya do m8 is wait till it gets above 90c and feel ya the rad and if it gets warm the thermostat has opened and its your fan switch the bit ya bridged but if it aint getting warm when its over 98 or so its ya thermostat and thats why ya fan switch aint turning ya fan on coz no hot water the make the biometic strip in the fan switch work
