if you were to put a 2.0 gsi redtop astra engine in a corsa, what sort of 0-60 times would we be looking at?
me and a mate are planning on doing 2, 2ltr conversions, im doing a corsa, he's doing a nova, and i want to know what the best engine to put in is, because i want the faster car
cheers

steve, james, you guys suck.
Billy, Nova will be faster, it weighs less standard for standard. however the Corsa is prettier on the eyes and has more up to date electronics, interior etc
you are looking for a C20XE with an F20 gearbox.
0-60 is between 6.5 and 7.5 seconds depending on driver

that what i thought never happen wont be enough space etc.
plus you wont be able to adapt the ICV plug to the loom via a splicing plug.
Also the SMB port on the ECU will never match up the EMA wiring

i know the nova will be faster, which is why im looking for the best engine possible!!
(plus a few sandbags in his boot when hes not looking, could make it a fair race!)

The best engine to put in... depends what you want and how much you want to spend really! C20XE Redtop is the usual choice as for power/£ it works out pretty well Could go the throttle body route on them if you want more power, or go for the C20LET turbo engine instead.
