my mate bought a c20let engine here
http://www.migweb.co.uk/forums/vauxhall/items-sale/267199-c20let-goodies-sale.html

as stated by the seller it runs as normal

upon putting the engine in his car he found this to be far from the truth it had no oil pressure for the thirty seconds wehad it running my mate bought various parts including a brand new oil pump, we fitted them started the car up and it smoked and farted, when we took it out it knocks loudly under load
further details and the sellers response are here
http://www.migweb.co.uk/forums/vauxhall/car-talk/278495-gutted.html
as stated at the end of the thread he is now saying he never started the car, and refuses to refund my mate for an engine that 'runs normal' which in fact needs a rebuild

you may wonder why i am posting it here warning you all well its simple he is a registered user on here, see here
http://www.corsasport.co.uk/board/member.php?action=viewpro&member=corsa+kev

he also had another for sale thread on mig another c20let so think before you buy people
hes already had £1050 for a scrap engine off my mate do you want to be the next person to pay into the kev cav ripped you off fund?

Can you delete and repost in the problem user thread in Classifieds - assuming this is appropriate.

It would appear from the MIG thread that there are two sides to it?

The dude clearly stated that 'the engine runs normal' in the forsale ad, then changed his story to 'i never had time to turn the key' False advertising if u ask me!
