Try Bell as well. TBH mate being that young with a 1.6 engine, you aren't gonna find cheap insurance - especially when you modify it to! I get quotes of £1900 FC with 1 years NCB to insure a STANDARD 1.6!!!

Most insurance companies eont let people under the age of 25 drive other peoples cars when they have an FC policy. Quinn will though
tbh mate, you will struggle to insure that size of engine car with mods at your age. Thats why younger people with modified cars have small engines

Because it doesnt work like that. Young people who are statistically supposed to crash the most etc arent gonna be insured on big engined cars are they!!
Its the same for everyone else mate - I've got a 1.2 and I pay £1400 at 19. Its tough - a modified 1.6 at your age is kinda silly in all honesty.

all fair and well saying charge more, buttt as said, inexperienced drivers, especially with bigger engined cars are more likely to crash, what if in crashing you kill someone? that extra couple hundred quid wont help then!
Back to topic, at 18 i got insured for £900FC on a new 1.6 16v astra sport with elephant

Well, Quinn sorted me out £1200 BUT need to get a ERF form done... So just gotta nip down stepdads garage as they say the backbox may bump it up a little, as it will change engines performance...
Also, anyone know where to get certificates about blacked out windows to say they meet legal requirements?
