Yep this is chris suttons. Think it was running 350bhp when that vid was taken. He's now almost finished building the daddy of LET engines. Says it will be running somewhere in the region of 450bhp! In a nova!

In this months Total Vauxhall TOTB feature I'm sure one of the Astras had a 400bhp+ LET. Was a four door too

Suttons Nova has said... I think Tappits on here recorded that video.
At first i thought it was 1 i did on my phone.
Its BP is a 12.3 at pod.
The Nova van is running more than 400bhp as well.

There is a guy called Rick Draper building a monster of a Let engine in a Nova. Keep your eyes and ears peeled over the next few months. The first turn of the key is due to happen on Monday and then it's anyones guess as to what the car will be capable of.

Thought it was nearer 300bhp, but he could launch it? (Is this a Silver Nova, black Fan rims?)...
V-max on a LET is around 700bhp I think, but if you don't mind 90% lag and minimal usable power, you could probably stretch more...
It can be done on a packaged kit, don't know how much, but im sure its something like £20k...

thats not really what I was asking Daimo, question should really read - what is the most powerful LET in the UK?
As I have never heard of one running much more than 400bhp...
I know some foreign tuners have got big power out of them.. but we always seem to be way behind everyone else in the tuning world...
no one seems to bother with spending big money on turbo vauxhalls in the uk
