I thrash my 172 and get 38 mpg all day long (drops if i dont use optimax) but its much better than what i used to get out of my 1.6 sport?? even though its got loads more power. lol at gt4's fule consumption, my boss's is about 265 bhp and is dreafull on fuel

38mpg
and the little fcukers are still pretty quick!
Im guessing they use some form of variable valve timing???
my GT4 should be over 300bhp...
most standard JDM cars are dyno'ed at 260bhp+
and yea... petrol consumption is

my corsa did 170 to a tank this one time that was the last tank before it died
the nova did about 250 cos it was a carbed engine, and it was crap
this gaymobile does about 400 to a tank.

The gear box is really long, in 5th at 80mph its, doing ~3,500 rpm! So its ideal for motorway cruising. Most of my weekly miles are on the M27, so long as I avoid traffic and pressing the loud pedal all the way down I can average about 35mpg Engine mods are Apexi ind. kit and decats only.
