it'd cost that to build. expecially if it was built from a new shell in 1994.

but i wouldnt spend 50k on it either... i'd spend 10k and have just as much fun.

there might have been a shell laying about unregistered... but i'm not convinced

it says its from the IOM though, so the registration system might be different there?

Like SVM says though.... not witha Vauxhall engine. if it had a nice NA cosworth, or a 200+ bhp pinto, maybe, but not the wrong engine.

if it had a BDA it'd go for twice that

Spot on Robin.

A car of that calibre should be fitted with a BDA or a nice N/A converted YBD by someone like Wilcox.

Putting the wrong engine in it just devalues the car and denies it it's heritage.

A bit like wearing a pair of trainers with a Savile Row suit.
