Got courtney clutch in yest and as a result went and abused some tarmac...

For legal reasons I was not driving and this was not my car (just looked er...similar) and speed never exceeded 70mph

seems to move alright and sounds nice when you have the pedal down

btw, the driver says he does 130 monkeys an hour, obviously it didnt stop at that, what was the top end during those runs?

Dunno does off the clock at 130mph and should theoretically hit the limiter at 146mph, so somewhere inbetween. Ive got an F28 to go in just saving the pennies to get the mounts etc. The powers there to do warpspeed but it runs out of gears at the mo

The 40-100mph hit feels just instant tho!

The standard clutch was fooked. The pressure plate had sheared its metal mounts off! It was only held on with 2 bolts and was completely bent and twisted. Ive got some pics so will post them up tomorrow when I get my camera. My mate who a mechanic reckons it wouldve gone through the box if it came off!

Lesson 1 kids - dont put 250bhp through a poo clutch.

biggleswade bypass, awesome bit of road easily go off the clock from one roundabout to the next.

12psi on standard chips

Need to get it rolling roaded again coz Im certain its pushing 250bhp now. Just sold my phase 2 chips, but Ill get some more once I have the F28 in

Its had a de-cat aswell. Had a look undrneath at weekend and it aint there anymore! Exhausts UK didnt tell me they nicked it!
