my bank was going to charge me £39 for me not having enough money in my other bank for a direct debit i forgot to put it in

£39 robbing bastards

i rang them and told them they said they could do nothing about it iwas pissed off

so i rang them back talked to a different person and i said can you do anything about the charges

she said

yes because you have been with us for years we will take the charge of for you
i was glad about that

just shows you if you dont ask you dont get

Lloyds TSB all the way The charged me like £2 something for a £980 overdraft

Starting to run it up again now Working on paying it off though

Thats really what you get for simple laziness for not keeping control of your accounts..



Its only harsh if you get charges £39 for an item that is proportional to that.. ie £50 and under... you hear stories of £39 charge for going 2pence over which is damn stupid..

I don't need help now, as it was from my times as a student. Either way, any time they charge me, i'm quite happy to give them a ring and they'll refund it, lol.

they are good, but still they wouldnt give me a tempory 5k overdraft whilst a building society cheque cleared. i begged and begged, they gave me 4500 in the end! wtf is that about
