my dads thinking about gettin one and hes seen one on a 51 plate on 41k two lady owners

bit of a miss match golf tbh i think there only about 190bhp so you may aswell get a 1.8T

my mate had one and replaced it with a diesel because of the fuel cost
not that quick either really, but not slow slow

think he mite b goin to have a look at one either tomoorow or sunday
he only does about 70miles a week so hes not bothered about petrol or speed just wants a nice comfy car
he does like the 1.8t's but somethin about the v5s that hes pulled towards

170 actually, early ones came in 150bhp guise too, piss poor performace, but nice noise and not too bad reliability wise.. dont hold their value very well tho, kinda on par with the 2.0 gti's and 1.4/6 in depriciation

i knew they wasn't that powerful not many people take much notice of them as they aswell have the 1.8T
